Rules Resources

The Cooperative Association Act framework requires each co-op to have a set of Rules. CHF BC, working with experienced lawyers, has come up with a set of Model Rules that are designed specifically for housing co-ops. They offer options for different membership models, and governance preferences. We update the Model Rules to reflect changes in the law and best practices.

Our Rules resources focus on Model Rules 2.0. You will find almost everything you need to develop or review your rules right here.

(For those that want individualized help, CHF BC offers paid consultation services.)
