Surveillance technology is something that many housing co-ops have considered. Our template policy helps provide a framework for using video cameras, but it’s an option that requires a lot of thought. Our discussion guide offers some suggestions. We recommend using both the policy and the notes together.
Co-ops and their members may both have an interest in using video cameras. This policy is focused on co-op choices, but that’s only part of the total picture.
