Leadership that inspires member involvement
We all prefer activities we find rewarding — it’s human nature. It’s no different in housing co-ops. Communities have to earn their members’ involvement before they get it consistently. The good news is that we can do it. And if we do it really well, we may have to knock out a wall in our meeting rooms just to hold all the keen members!
If our experience in a co-op community is rewarding, we want to stay involved. Creating that kind of experience for our members may be the biggest challenge we face as leaders. It all starts with us.
Come to this workshop if you want to explore how to:
- grow your leadership capacities and skills
- create a culture of member involvement and attract people to it
- apply new strategies and skills to the challenge of member involvement.
