The impact of 2021’s heat dome and the increasing regularity and severity of forest fires have made everyone pay more attention to the effects of high temperatures and poor air quality. These can be so serious as to threaten the health and safety of members. It’s important for housing co-ops to review their options.

As a starting point, we’ve collected some ideas around actions to take before and during heat and smoke events.
